What we have learned from our most recent trip out in China, the Chinese are big fan of electric scooters – speed limits are up to 50 kilometers per hour! no one seem to bother with a helmet. retail prices are extremely competitive, you can purchase one for around £200. They travel freely (and madly) between cars which we must say caused a few nerve racking moments!
However, more and more often, we saw electric bikes (PAS) out on the roads in major cities such as Shanghai. They seem to be popular for commercial purpose – using for fast food deliveries, for example. They are also welcomed by the police force. Is it the beginning of ebikes against electric scooters??
